Dust.
Feet stay still, eyes blink wild,
Hands lay cold, hair runs down,
Tears flood over, wet and warm,
Tears flow gently, cold my world.
Stop! Stop! Stop, to think!
Race down hills and melt to seek!
Senseless words, tears run still,
Upon my cheeks, against my will,
To hope that I, am not bad,
To hope that I, can be good.
Words that will make sense to some,
And most will not.
Tears will be amidst me,
like Dust.

Chapter 2: Queer Encounter
The next day, Jamie had not only bombed her science test, but had also managed to bomb everything else while she was on her "unlucky" streak (which was just a lack of sleep and self-esteem). Her shoe-laces were untied, helping her trip over her own foot and fall straight on her belly. She chewed bubble gum in class as she normally did, but could not restrain the temptation to blow a bubble right in the pathway of Ms. Hilda's keen, searching eyes. In front of the whole class she was reprimanded and sent to the trash bin to spit it out immediately.
Throughout the entire school day, Jamie wished she had never found

Chapter 1: Utter Despair
It was a time of peril in Jamie Ryefield's life, in which she could not find a way out and a way in into any little niche teenagers liked to find themselves in. She was not an oddball of any sort; she did her homework, played soccer occasionally with some of her "acquaintances", averaged decently in classes, and was as obedient to her parents as any other teenage girl could be. To most, it may have been the lack of charm that threw them off- the girl had no exceptionality, not even negative ones. So I guess we could call her an odd oddball of a sort.
However, there was one thing in which Jamie Ryefield was better

Setting
Time/Era: Exact year or approximate time
Name of Country: For fun, you could alter the name of an old country to amuse more educated readers. For example, I altered the Assyrian Empire's name for a conquering people to evoke images of brutality and Mesopotamia.
Geography: Keep track of all the places you mention and their approximate locations. I find it handy to draw a rough map of the area.
Landscape: Trees, soil, water, buildings... Imagine you were flying over the place in an airplane. What would you
